Morrison and Foerster, LLP, provides ongoing Pro Bono legal support for ACA’s conservation work in Peru, including the creation of the world’s first conservation concession and the development of a new carbon offset program based at the concession.

MPOWERD

MPOWERD is a company committed to solar justice. Through two campaigns in 2013-2014, more than 500 donated solar lanterns traveled to Peru and Bolivia. They provide a renewable way for beneficiaries to complete tasks after sundown while reducing dependence on candles or batteries.

Raquel Fernandes da Silva began her beauty salon business called Amazonia Concept in Amsterdam in 2022, and set out to make sure her business would make a positive impact on the planet from day one. Originating from a small town in Brazil, protecting the forest and biodiversity of her home country has always been a motivating force for Raquel. As she and her husband were developing their business plan for the salon, they reached out to Amazon Conservation to form a partnership to raise awareness about the rainforest with their clients and give back through collective donations to support reforestation and conservation efforts at the headwaters of the Amazon.

Blue Rook Distillery

Based in Danville, Kentucky, Blue Rook Distillery is a family enterprise that imports cachaça and cane neutral spirit from Brazil. Blue Rook blends, proofs, filters, and hand-bottles their cachaça and other spirits, including those infused with native Amazonian botanicals such as açai and guarana. As spirits producers, they aim for ecologically responsible spirits production and donate a portion of their proceeds to support our reforestation efforts to counteract deforestation.
